Excel-Jet Announces Sport-Jet II Kit Sales

December, 2008

COLORADO SPRINGS AIRPORT, COLORADO – Excel-Jet makers of the highly anticipated Sport-Jet are pleased to announce that it is now selling kits for its new Sport-Jet II aircraft. The new aircraft is a 4 place PLJ (Personal Light Jet) that cruises 380 Knots at 28,000 feet and will cost less than a light piston twin to operate. Using a power plant that has proven its’ self over millions of flight hours the Sport-Jet II gets an increase in power from 1500 to 2200 pounds of thrust. This additional thrust will get you off the ground in less than 2,300 feet, to cruising altitude at 3000 feet per minute giving it a 1000 mile range with a 45 min reserve.

These kits will be available for delivery in subsystem packages. The aircraft kit is broken down into four basic subsystems; main fuselage, wings, aft fuselage/ tail, and engine systems. Excel-Jet has taken painstaking steps to reduce the build time and simplify the construction process. These steps maintain the highest level of precision ensuring that an amateur builder can safely complete their dream aircraft. The Sport-Jet can be built for as little as $850K and in less than 12 month's time.
